Holographic Windows by Martina Mrongovius

The spatial perspective through a hologram allows for a view into a dimensional scene. The holographic scene is explored by the viewer’s movement – this moving around becoming a key aspect of the image experience.
In this lecture artist and designer Dr Martina Mrongovius describes different techniques of holographic imaging and how holograms can make us aware of the nature of light and our own perception.

Every other Tuesday night (19:30-21:30 hrs) the Master’s department of the Film Academy organises lectures by film makers, visual artists, composers, philosophers, scientists or film theoreticians. The aim of lectures is to broaden horizons and to get inspired by a diversity of approaches and perspectives. Lectures are free and open to all who are interested.
